To make this easy taco soup, I started by heating some oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Once the oil was hot, I added some lean ground beef to the pot.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I drained the grease from the pot.
I added a packet of taco seasoning to the pot.
I stirred until all of the ground beef was coated in the taco seasoning.
Then I added some chunky salsa to the pot.
I stirred well.
I added some frozen corn kernels to the pot.
I stirred well again.
I added some beef broth to the pot.
I stirred well and brought the soup to a boil.
Once the soup started to boil, I immediately reduced the heat to medium-low and left the soup to simmer.
I let the soup simmer, stirring occasionally, for twenty minutes.
Then the beef taco soup was ready to serve.
I ladled the spicy hamburger soup into bowls.
I topped my soup with some tortilla chips, sour cream, shredded cheese and chopped chives.
This taco soup is great served as is or you can add whatever toppings you prefer.

I came across this recipe on Google this morning. Since I had all the ingredients on hand, I decided to try it today.
Very easy to make, and the taste is AWESOME! I used spicy chunk salsa, and the spicy/heat is present, with no pops of Tabasco.
This is my fave online recipe. Thank you for sharing.
