I stirred the ingredients together until they were fully combined.
Then I added some vanilla extract and two eggs to the bowl.
I stirred well again.
I added some all purpose flour, cocoa powder and salt to the bowl.
I stirred until all of the ingredients were fully combined.
Then I added some semi-sweet chocolate chips to the bowl.
I stirred the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Then I lined a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and sprayed it with cooking spray.
I poured the brownie batter into the foil lined baking pan and spread it out evenly.
I placed the baking pan in the oven and baked the brownies until a toothpick inserted in the center came up mostly clean with just a few crumbs.
Then I set the brownies aside to cool while I prepared the pudding topping.
I dumped some vanilla instant pudding mix into a large mixing bowl.
Then I added some milk to the bowl.
I used an electric mixer to beat the pudding mix and milk together until the mixture became very thick.
Then I chopped up a banana.
I added the chopped banana to the bowl.
I continued mixing with the electric mixer until no large chunks of banana remained.
Then I added some Cool Whip to the bowl.
I used a rubber spatula to fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture.
Once the brownies were slightly warm but not too hot, I dumped the pudding mixture on top and spread it out evenly.
Then I thinly sliced a banana.
I placed the banana slices on top of the pudding mixture.
I placed some vanilla wafer cookies in a ziploc bag.
I used a small heavy bottomed pot to crush the cookies.
Then I sprinkled the cookie crumbs on top of the brownies.
I placed the brownie pan in the refrigerator and left the brownies to cool and set for three hours.
After three hours, I removed the pan from the refrigerator.
I used the aluminum foil to lift the brownies from the pan.
I sliced the brownies into 24 squares.
Then the banana brownies were ready to serve.
