To make this chicken parmesan pasta, I started by cooking some penne noodles according to the directions on the package.
Then I drained the noodles and returned them to the pot off of the heat.
I added some marinara sauce to the pot.
I stirred until all of the noodles were coated in the marinara sauce.
Then I added some shredded rotisserie chicken, Italian seasoning and shredded parmesan cheese to the pot.
I stirred all of the ingredients together well.
Then I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
I dumped the pasta mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
I sprinkled some shredded parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.
Then I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pasta.
I dumped some Italian seasoned bread crumbs into a small mixing bowl.
I added some melted butter to the bowl.
I used a fork to stir the bread crumbs and melted butter together well.
I sprinkled the bread crumb mixture on top of the cheese.
Then I placed the baking dish in the oven.
I baked the pasta until it was bubbling and the bread crumb topping was nicely browned.
Then I removed the pasta from the oven.
I allowed the pasta to sit for a few minutes before scooping and serving.

- Preheat oven to 375F.

- Add the shredded chicken, 1/3 cup of the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning to the pot.
- Stir well.
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
- Dump the pasta mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of shredded parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Dump the bread crumbs and melted butter into a small mixing bowl and stir well.
- Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture on top of the cheese.
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake the pasta until it’s bubbling and the bread crumb topping is nicely browned. 18 – 22 minutes.
- Remove the pasta from the oven and leave it to sit for a few minutes.
