FAQS:

How should I store the Mongolian beef?

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

What kind of steak should I use?

  • Sirloin tip works great with this recipe, but flank steak is also a great option because they’re both tender. Be sure it is sliced very thin (about ¼-inch thick) in order to cook correctly with this recipe.

What are alterations that I can make?

  • Add a few tablespoons of hoisin sauce to create a slightly different flavor.
  • Add more or less red pepper flakes to get the level of heat you like; as is it’s pretty mild with only ⅛ teaspoon.
  • Add some cooked, Asian veggies to the dish.
