Chicken Florentine Soup

Dump some butter and garlic puree into a large pot over medium-high heat.

Once the butter is completely melted add some diced onions to the pot.

Stir and cook until the onions are translucent. Add some all purpose flour to the pot.

Stir well and continue cooking for a few minutes until the flour starts to brown slightly.

Add some chicken broth to the pot and whisk until the liquid starts to bubble and thicken.

Add some heavy cream to the pot and whisk well again. Add some salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to the pot.

Add some shredded chicken and roasted red peppers to the pot.

Stir well and add some baby spinach to the pot.

Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.
