Baked Chicken and Dumplings

Dump some shredded rotisserie chicken into the bottom of a baking dish.

Sprinkle some diced onions on top of the chicken.

Pour some Bisquick mix and milk into a mixing bowl. Stir until fully combined.

Drop the biscuit batter by the spoonful on top of the chicken and onions in the baking dish.

Pour some condensed cream of chicken soup into a mixing bowl.

Add some chicken broth, salt, pepper and ground sage to the bowl.

Whisk well.

Pour the soup mixture over the ingredients in the baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.

After 45 minutes remove the foil and continue baking until the dumplings start to brown very slightly on top.

Leave the chicken and dumplings to sit for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
