Chicken and Dumplings with Bisquick

1

Cut some boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite sized chunks.

2

Melt some butter in a large pot and then add the chicken thigh chunks to the pot.

3

Cook the chicken until only slightly pink and then add some diced onions to the pot.

4

Continue cooking until the onions are translucent and then add some all purpose flour to the pot.

5

Stir well and continue cooking for a few minutes.

6

Add some condensed chicken broth to the pot and stir until the liquid starts to thicken.

7

Add some milk to the pot, stir well and bring the liquid to a boil.

8

While waiting for the liquid to boil, combine some Bisquick and milk in a bowl until a sticky dough forms.

9

Form dough into balls approximately 1/2 an inch in diameter.

10

Drop the dough balls into the boiling liquid, stir well, cover the pot and reduce the heat.

11

After 10 minutes add some canned corn, peas, carrots, salt, pepper, ground sage, onion powder and garlic powder.

12

Stir well and continue cooking for 5 minutes.

13

Serve and enjoy!
