Crock Pot Salisbury Steak

1

Dump the lean ground beef into a large mixing bowl. Add an egg, onion soup mix and milk to the bowl.

2

Crush some Ritz crackers and add the crumbs to the bowl.

3

Use your hands to combine all of the ingredients well. Divide the meat mixture into four evenly sized balls.

4

Flatten the balls into patties and place them in a hot skillet.

5

Cook until the bottoms of the patties are browned. Flip the patties and continue cooking until the other side is browned.

6

Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray and dump some diced onions into the bottom of the crock pot.

7

Place the browned ground beef patties in a single layer on top of the diced onions.

8

Dump some cream of mushroom soup, brown gravy mix and beef broth into a mixing bowl.

9

Whisk well.

10

Pour the mixture over the ground beef patties in the crock pot. Place the lid on the crock pot and set it to cook on LOW.

11

After 4 hours of cooking time, transfer the cooked ground beef patties to a plate. Stir the contents of the crock pot well.

12

Add a cornstarch slurry to the pot and whisk well. Return the patties to the pot and continue cooking for at least 10 minutes to thicken.

13

Serve and enjoy!
