Hamburger Potato Casserole

Cook some ground beef and diced onions in a skillet and then set it aside.

Dump some cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning into a mixing bowl.

Whisk well and set aside.

Thinly slice some potatoes using a knife or mandoline.

Place half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of a greased baking dish and spread them out evenly.

Spoon half of the soup mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle half of the cooked ground beef and onions on top.

Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top.

Repeat the layers starting with the remaining potatoes, followed by the remaining soup, remaining ground beef and cheese.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake. Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes of cooking.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
