Italian Pasta Salad

Cook cavatappi noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool down.

Transfer the cooled pasta to a large mixing bowl. Add the mayo, basil pesto, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl.

Stir until all of the pasta is coated with mayo.

Add halved grape tomatoes, diced red onions, chopped salami and real bacon bits to the bowl. Stir well.

Add shredded Parmesan and shredded mozzarella to the bowl. Stir well again.

Cover and refrigerate for about two hours before serving so that the pasta can absorb all the flavours.
