Philly Cheese Steak Meatloaf

Saute diced onions, green peppers and mushrooms in a large skillet.

Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking until mushrooms are starting to brown. Set pan aside.

Dump ground beef, eggs, milk, bread crumbs and gravy mix into a large mixing bowl.

Add some salt, pepper, garlic powder Worcestershire sauce and steak spice to the bowl.

Use your hands to combine all of the ingredients.

Press 2/3 of the meat mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a foil lined loaf pan.

Place shredded cheese along the hollow center.

Spoon most of the onion, green pepper and mushroom mixture on top of the cheese.

Spread the remaining meat mixture on top and seal in the filling.

Bake for 50 minutes and then remove the pan from the oven.

Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese, onions, green peppers and mushrooms on top. Continue baking 10 -15 minutes.

Allow the meatloaf to rest in the pan for 5 minutes.
