Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Casserole

Cook some pork sausage meat in a large nonstick skillet.

Add some cream cheese to skillet.

Stir until the cream cheese is melted.

Add some maple syrup to the skillet and stir well again.

Add some chopped green onions to the skillet and stir.

Place a sheet of Pillsbury crescent dough in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Spoon the sausage and cream cheese mixture on top of the crescent dough and spread it out evenly.

Sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sausage.

Place a sheet of crescent dough on top .

Bake until the crescents are nicely browned.
