Southern Baked Spaghetti

Cook and drain spaghetti.

Cook ground beef and diced onions in a large pot. Drain grease from the pot.

Add some marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the pot with the cooked beef.

Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the pot and stir until all of the noodles are coated in the sauce.

Dump some ricotta cheese into a mixing bowl.

Add an egg and some Italian seasoning to the bowl and stir well.

Add some shredded parmesan, mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the bowl.

Stir well.

Scoop half of the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking and spread it out evenly.

Scoop all of the ricotta mixture on top of the spaghetti and spread it out evenly.

Scoop the remaining spaghetti mixture over the ricotta.

Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.

Bake until the spaghetti is bubbling and cheese is just starting to brown. Sprinkle parsley on top.
