Steak and Potato Soup

1

Dump some butter, diced onions and garlic puree into a large pot over medium-high heat.

2

Stir until the butter is completely melted. Add some one inch steak cubes to the pot.

3

Cook the steak chunks until only a little pink remains visible. Add some all purpose flour to the pot.

4

Stir until the steak chunks are coated in flour. Add some salt, pepper, smoked paprika and onion powder to the pot and stir well.

5

Continue cooking until the flour is just starting to brown. Add the beef broth to the pot and stir until it starts to thicken.

6

Once the liquid is boiling reduce the heat to medium-low and place a lid on the pot. Leave the soup to cook, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes.

7

Add some potato chunks, diced celery and an undrained can of corn to the pot. Stir well.

8

Add some cream of mushroom soup and cream of potato soup to the pot.

9

Stir well and continue simmering until potatoes are tender.

10

Serve and enjoy!
