Taco Mac and Cheese

Cook and drain macaroni noodles.

Cook some lean ground beef and diced onions in a large skillet.

When the ground beef is fully cooked, add some flour and taco seasoning to the skillet.

Stir until all of the ground beef is coated in the flour and taco seasoning. Continue cooking the mixture for 3 minutes.

Add some Rotel, salt and pepper to the skillet and stir well.

Add some heavy cream to the skillet.

Stir well, bring to a boil and then leave to simmer and thicken for 5 minutes.

Add the cooked macaroni noodles to the skillet and stir until the noodles are all coated in sauce.

Remove the skillet from heat and add shredded cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted.

Add some chopped green onions to the skillet and stirred well.

Serve and garnish with shredded cheese, crispy tortilla strips, sour cream and chopped green onions if desired.
