Turkey a la King

Dump some butter into a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the butter is melted add some diced onions, celery and sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir. Continue cooking for 3 minutes.

Add some diced red and green bell peppers to the skillet and stir.

Add some flour to the skillet and stir until all of the veggies are coated. Cook until the flour starts to brown.

Add some chicken broth to the pan and stir until it thickens.

Add some heavy cream to the pan, stir and reduce the heat to low.

Add some onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the pan and stir well.

Add some shredded turkey and stir until all of the turkey is coated in the sauce.

Leave the dish to simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve over biscuits, toast, rice or noodles.
