BBQ Chicken Crescent Rolls are an easy weeknight dinner recipe using shredded rotisserie chicken, diced red onions, Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue sauce, shredded cheese and Pillsbury crescent rolls.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup diced red onion
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce
  • 16 oz Pillsbury crescent rolls (2 packages of 8 rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Dump shredded chicken, diced onion, shredded cheese and bbq sauce into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
  4. Lay the triangles of crescent dough on the counter.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the dough triangles and spread it out to cover the whole triangle except for an inch of the tip.
  6. Gently roll up the crescents and place them on a non stick baking sheet.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the crescents are just starting to brown on top. 18-20 minutes.
  8. Remove the pan from the oven and leave the crescents to cool for a couple minutes on the pan.
  9. Use a spatula to lift the crescent rolls off the pan and serve.
