Dr Pepper Pork Sloppy Joes

Cook pork sausage meat in a skillet.

Add diced onions to the pan with the sausage as it's cooking.

Stir well and continue cooking until sausage meat is nicely browned. Drain the grease from the skillet.

Add Dr Pepper to the pan and leave it to simmer over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

Once Dr Pepper has been greatly reduced and thickened, add some BBQ sauce to the skillet.

Stir well and reduce heat to low.

Spoon the pork mixture on to toasted Brioche buns and top with French's crispy fried onions.
