Step by Step Instructions
STEP 1:
I started by lining a 10 x 15 inch baking sheet with foil and then spraying it well with cooking spray.

STEP 2:
I poured a bag of ruffled potato chips onto the baking sheet.
I spread the chips out evenly and pressed down slightly breaking them apart to bit to flatten them.

STEP 3:
Then I dropped butter into a saucepan over medium heat.
Once the butter was starting to melt I added some brown sugar to the pot.

STEP 4:
I stirred until the butter was completely melted and then brought the mixture to a boil.
I left the mixture to boil over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

STEP 5:
After 3 minutes, I immediately removed the pot from the heat and poured the mixture evenly over the potato chips on the baking sheet.

STEP 6:
I placed the baking sheet in a preheated oven for 5 minutes.

STEP 7:
After 5 minutes I removed the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkled semi sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top.
I waited a couple minutes to for the chips to melted and then I spread the chocolate evenly over the potato chips, covering the top completely.

STEP 8:
I sprinkled some red, white and green sprinkles on top of the melted chocolate and then placed the baking sheet in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours.

STEP 9:
After 2 hours I removed the crack from the fridge and flipped it over to remove the foil.
Then I broke it into pieces.

You can break it into rustic pieces or slice it neatly—either way, it won’t last long.

The potato chips stay perfectly crunchy under the toffee layer, giving every bite that irresistible snap.
