- ½ lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup chopped yellow onion
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon yellow mustard
- ½ tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 wieners
- 4 hot dog buns

Step by Step Instructions
STEP 1:
I dropped some raw ground beef into a skillet over medium-high heat and broke the beef apart.
STEP 2:
I added some chopped onions to the skillet.
I stirred well and continued cooking until the ground beef was fully browned.
STEP 3:
I added some minced garlic to the skillet, stirred well and continued cooking for about 2 minutes.
STEP 4:
I added ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar and onion powder to the skillet.
I stirred until all of the ground beef was well coated in sauce and then reduced the heat to low.
STEP 5:
I preheated my air fryer and then dropped 4 wieners into the basket.
I cooked the wieners for 3 minutes at 380F.
STEP 6:
I placed each of the cooked wieners into a hot dog bun.
I spooned the sloppy joe mixture over the wieners and sprinkled shredded cheese on top.
STEP 7:
I placed the hot dogs into the air fryer basket and cooked them at 380F for 4 minutes.
Then the cheesy sloppy joe dogs were ready to serve!
