- 14 oz jar alfredo sauce (I used roasted garlic flavour)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1.5 lbs frozen meatballs
- 4 sub buns
- ⅔ cup garlic butter (I used store bought garlic spread but you could make your own)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled bacon
- Optional
- fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Step by Step Instructions
STEP 1:
Pour a jar of alfredo sauce into a skillet.
Add some water to the jar and shake it well to loosen all the stuck on sauce.
Pour the water into the skillet and turn the heat on to medium.
STEP 2:
Add some frozen meatballs to the skillet.
Place a lid on the skillet and and leave the meatballs to simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
STEP 3:
After 15 minutes I removed the lid and stirred well.
I continued cooking the meatballs for a few minutes, uncovered, to allow the sauce to thicken up.
Then I removed the skillet from the heat and set it aside.
STEP 4:
I sliced open 4 sub buns.
I spread store bought garlic spread on the opened up sub buns.
STEP 5:
I placed the sub buns on a large baking sheet.
I spooned the meatballs and alfredo sauce onto the buns.
STEP 6:
I sprinkled shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled bacon over the buns.
STEP 7:
I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the subs until they were well toasted and the cheese was fully melted and just starting to brown around the edges.
STEP 8:
I removed the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkled some fresh chopped parsley over the subs.
Then the creamy, cheese meatball subs were ready to serve!

Ingredients
- 14 oz jar alfredo sauce (I used roasted garlic flavour)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1.5 lbs frozen meatballs
- 4 sub buns
- ⅔ cup garlic butter (I used store bought garlic spread but you could make your own)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled bacon

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Pour the alfredo sauce into a large skillet.
- Pour the water into the alfredo sauce jar, put the lid back on the jar and give it a good shake to loosen up all the stuck on sauce. Pour the water into the skillet.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet, cover it with a lid and turn the heat to medium.
- Leave the meatballs to simmer, stirring occasionally, until they are heated through. About 15 minutes.
- Remove the lid from the skillet and stir well.
- Leave the meatballs to continue simmering for 2-3 minutes, uncovered, to thicken up the sauce.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and set it aside.
- Slice open the sub buns and spread them with garlic butter.
- Place the sub buns on a large baking sheet.
- Spoon the meatballs and alfredo sauce onto the buns.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over meatballs and buns.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the buns are nicely toasted and the cheese is just starting to brown around the edge. 15-18 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the subs if desired.
