To make this Doritos casserole, I started by cooking some lean ground beef in a large frying pan.
I added some diced onions to the pan while the ground beef was cooking.
I continued cooking until the ground beef was fully browned and then drained the excess grease from the skillet.
I added some Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese, cream of mushroom soup, Heinz chili sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the skillet.
I stirred until all of the ingredients were well combined.
I added canned corn and blacked beans to the skillet and stirred well again.
I removed the skillet from the heat and add some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese as well as chopped green onions.
I stirred just until the cheese was well distributed throughout the mixture.
I poured the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Then I crumbled some Doritos and sprinkled them over the meat mixture.
I sprinkled some shredded cheese and chopped green onions on top of the Doritos.
Then I baked the casserole until the cheese on top was completely melted and just starting to brown.

Doritos Casserole with Ground Beef is an easy dinner recipe the whole family will love. This hearty casserole is loaded with ground beef, cream cheese, corn, black beans, shredded cheese and topped with crumbled Doritos.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup yellow onion, diced
- 8 oz Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese
- 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ⅓ cup Heinz chili sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8.75 oz canned corn, drained
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar blend
- 3 cups Doritos, crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Drop the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onions to the pan with the beef while it's cooking.
- Once the ground beef is fully browned, drain the excess grease from the skillet.
- Add the cream cheese, mushroom soup, chili sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
- Add the corn and black beans and stir well again.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and add 2 cups of the shredded cheese. Set aside ¼ cup of the chopped green onions and add the remainder to the skillet.
- Stir just until the cheese and green onions are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the crumbled Doritos on top of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese and ¼ cup of chopped green onions on top of the Doritos.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the cheese on top is completely melted and just starting to brown. 11-13 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
