FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to cook the pasta before baking?
- Nope! That’s the beauty of this dump-and-bake recipe. The pasta cooks right in the sauce as it bakes, absorbing all the creamy Alfredo flavor.
What’s the best type of pasta to use?
- Short pasta like penne, rotini, or rigatoni works best because it holds the sauce well and cooks evenly in the oven.
How do I store leftovers?
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- The Texas toast may lose its crispiness, but you can reheat it in the oven to bring back some crunch.
What if I can’t find cream of bacon soup?
- Any flavour of condensed cream of soup would work for this recipe or you can just add an extra jar of alfredo sauce.
