- 6 cups rice chex cereal
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup Halloween M&Ms
- 1 cup Autumn candy corn mix

Step By Step Instructions
STEP 1:
I poured the chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter into a microwave safe bowl.
I microwaved the ingredients in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.

STEP 2:
I poured the chex cereal into a large mixing bowl and poured the melted chocolate peanut butter mixture over the cereal.
I stirred until all of the cereal was well coated.

STEP 3:
I poured powdered sugar into a large ziploc bag.
I added the chocolate coated cereal to the bag and tossed until it was well coated.


STEP 4:
I poured the cereal out on a large parchment lined baking sheet.
I spread it out and left it to set for about an hour.

STEP 5:
I added the M&Ms and the candy corn mix before transferring everything to a serving bowl.

Ingredients
- 6 cups rice chex cereal
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup Halloween M&Ms
- 1 cup Autumn candy corn mix
Instructions
- To a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
- Microwave for 30 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
- To a large mixing bowl, add the rice chex cereal.
- Pour the melted chocolate peanut butter mixture over the chex and stir until all of the cereal is coated.
- Add the powdered sugar to a large gallon storage bag- I like to do 1 cup in two bags.
- Add the chocolate coated cereal to the bag, or half and half to the bags if you use two.
- Seal the bags and shake to coat in the powdered sugar.
- Add a piece of parchment or wax paper to a large baking sheet.
- Dump the coated cereal onto the paper and spread out.
- Allow about an hour for the chocolate to set.
- Add M&Ms and candy corn mix, and add to a serving bowl.
- Top with a few extra candies, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
