These 4 Ingredient Apple Crumbles are a delicious and ridiculously easy dessert. Pull this recipe out when you need a tasty dessert in a hurry.
This recipe produces four individual desserts and takes only twenty minutes from start to finish.
Apple pie and apple crisp are a couple of my favourite fall desserts. Here is a quick and easy way to enjoy an apple dessert when you are short on time.
This recipe could be made using one baking dish but I chose to make individual servings in french onion soup bowls.
I used canned apple pie filling and for the crumble topping mixed Quaker Oatmeal Cookie mix with some butter.
To make it even sweeter I drizzled some caramel ice cream sundae sauce over the top before serving.
I started by spooning some apple pie filling into four French onion soup bowls.
Then I mixed together some oatmeal cookie mix and melted butter until it had a crumbly texture.
I sprinkled the mixture over the apple pie filling completely covering it.
I baked my Apple Crumbles at 400F for fifteen minutes until the crumble topping was getting nice and brown.
I drizzled the caramel sauce over the desserts after removing them from the oven.
The result is a delicious and comforting apple pie like dessert. The crispy crumble topping adds great texture and the caramel sauce adds just the right amount of sweetness to the dish.
These desserts are best enjoyed still warm from the oven. Just allow them to cool a bit first because the pie filling gets very hot.
Try these 4 Ingredient Apple Crumbles the next time you are looking for a quick and easy dessert. You won’t be disappointed.
