To make this peanut butter cup fudge, I started by lining a 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
Then I placed some Reese’s Minis peanut butter cups in the pan in a single layer, spacing them out as evenly as possible.
I dumped some vanilla frosting and smooth peanut butter into a microwave safe bowl.
I added some Reese’s peanut butter baking chips to the bowl.
Then I placed the bowl in microwave on High power for 45 seconds.
I removed the bowl from the microwave.
Then I stirred the ingredients together well.
The peanut butter baking chips were not completely melted, so I returned the bowl to the microwave for an additional 30 seconds on High.
I removed the bowl from the microwave and stirred until all of the baking chips were completely melted.
Then spooned the mixture over the mini peanut butter cups in the baking pan.
I used a spoon to press the fudge mixture out evenly.
Then I sprinkled some mini Reese’s pieces on top of the fudge.
I used the spoon again to press the Reese’s pieces down into the fudge so that they would stick well.
Then I placed the pan in the refrigerator and left the fudge to set for an hour.
After an hour I removed the pan from the refrigerator.
I used the wax paper to lift the fudge out of the pan.
Then I sliced the fudge into 36 pieces.
This rich peanut butter fudge is the perfect dessert for any time of year.
