FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I make McGriddle Muffins ahead of time?
- Yes! These muffins are perfect for meal prep. Store them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
How do I reheat McGriddle Muffins?
- Microwave refrigerated muffins for 20–30 seconds or frozen muffins for 60–90 seconds. You can also warm them in a 350°F oven or air fryer for a few minutes.
Can I use regular breakfast sausage instead of maple sausage?
- Yes. Regular pork sausage, spicy sausage, turkey sausage, or even chicken sausage all work well. If you’re using plain sausage, you can add an extra drizzle of maple syrup for that classic McGriddle flavor.
What type of pancake mix should I use?
- A complete pancake mix that only requires water works best for this recipe. If you’re using a traditional mix, prepare it according to the package directions before adding it to the recipe.
