Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make Mummy Oreo Balls ahead of time?
- Yes! These are a great make-ahead Halloween treat. Prepare them a day or two in advance and store them covered in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
How should I store Mummy Oreo Balls?
- Store the Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Because the filling contains cream cheese, they should be kept refrigerated when you aren’t serving them.
Can I freeze Mummy Oreo Balls?
- Yes. You can freeze the finished Oreo balls in a freezer-safe container, with parchment paper between layers, for up to 2 months. Thaw them in the refrigerator before serving.
What can I use instead of vanilla almond bark?
- You can use white candy melts or another melting candy designed for dipping. White chocolate can also work, although it may be a little trickier to melt and coat smoothly.
