To make this grilled cheese sandwich, I started by spreading butter on two slices of bread.
Then I flipped one of the slices of bread over so that it was butter side down.
I placed some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of that slice of bread.
Then I placed the other piece of bread on top, butter side up, to form a sandwich.
I placed toothpicks in the sandwich to hold it together in the air fryer.
Then I placed the sandwich in the air fryer.
I set my air fryer to cook at 370F for 10 minutes.
After 4 minutes of cooking time I removed the toothpicks from the sandwich and flipped it over.
I continued cooking the sandwich, checking on it occasionally so that it didn’t overcook, for another 4 minutes.
The exact cooking time will vary between different air fryer models.
When the grilled cheese was nice and golden brown on both sides, I removed it from the air fryer.
Then the gooey, cheese sandwich was ready to serve.
