To make these sliders, I started by dumping some shredded rotisserie chicken into a large mixing bowl.

I added some Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce to the bowl.

I stirred until all of the chicken was coated in the sauce.

Then I sliced 12 dinner rolls open.

I placed the bottom buns on a baking sheet.

Then I scooped the chicken onto the buns.

I sprinkled some diced red onions on top of the chicken.

Then I placed some sliced Monterey Jack cheese on top.

I placed the top buns over the cheese.

Then I brushed some melted butter on the tops of the buns.

I dumped some onion powder, garlic powder and parley flakes into a small bowl.

I stirred them together.

Then I sprinkled the spice mixture on top of the buns.

I covered the sliders with aluminum foil.

Then I placed the baking sheet in the oven.

I baked the sliders until the buns were nicely toasted and the cheese was fully melted.

  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce

  • 6 slices Monterey Jack cheese

How to Make BBQ Chicken Sliders:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Dump the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce into a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir until all of the chicken is coated in sauce.
  4. Slice the dinner rolls open.
  5. Place the bottom buns on a baking sheet.
  6. Scoop the chicken onto the buns.
  7. Sprinkle the diced red onions over the chicken.
  8. Place the cheese slices on top.
  9. Place the top buns over the cheese.
  10. Brush the melted butter on top of the buns.
  11. Dump the onion powder, garlic powder and parsley flakes into a small bowl and stir well.
  12. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on top of the buns.
  13. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and then place the baking sheet in the oven.
  14. Bake the sliders until the buns are nicely toasted and the cheese is fully melted. 17 – 20 minutes.
  15. Remove the foil and serve immediately.
  16. Enjoy!
