To make these sliders, I started by pouring some marinara sauce into a large saucepan over medium heat.
I added some frozen Italian style meatballs to the pan.
I stirred until all of the meatballs were coated in sauce.
I covered the pot and left the meatballs to continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs were heated through.
I sliced the dinner rolls open and placed the bottoms on a parchment lined baking sheet.
I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on the buns.
Then I spooned three meatballs and some marinara sauce onto each bun.
I sprinkled more shredded mozzarella cheese and some parmesan cheese on top of the meatballs.
Then I placed the top buns over the cheese.
I brushed the tops of the buns with melted butter.
Then I sprinkled some Italian seasoning on the buns.
I covered the sliders with aluminum foil.
Then I placed the baking sheet in the oven and baked the sliders until the buns were nicely toasted and the cheese was completely melted.
I removed the baking sheet from the oven and removed the foil from the sliders.
Then the cheesy meatballs sandwiches were ready to serve.
These mini meatball subs are sure to be a family favourite.
