What should I serve with Cheesy Hamburger Potato Soup?
Cheesy Hamburger Potato Soup is a hearty and filling dish on its own, but you can enhance the meal by serving it with some complementary sides. Here are a few suggestions:
- Crusty Bread: Serve the soup with slices of crusty bread or dinner rolls. You can also toast the bread and serve it with butter for added flavor.
- Green Salad: A fresh green salad with a light vinaigrette dressing can provide a nice contrast to the richness of the soup. Consider using mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and sliced bell peppers.
- Garlic Bread: Instead of plain bread, serve garlic bread alongside the soup. The garlic flavor will complement the cheesy and savory flavors of the soup.
- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches: You can’t go wrong with the classic combination of grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. Make them with your favorite cheese and bread for a delicious accompaniment.
- Cornbread: Serve slices of warm cornbread with the soup for a Southern-inspired twist. The slightly sweet flavor of the cornbread pairs well with the savory soup.
Choose one or a combination of these sides based on your preference and the occasion, and you’ll have a satisfying meal to enjoy with your Cheesy Hamburger Potato Soup.

Definitely a tasty soup! Had to use the Idaho spuds potatoes but it worked out well. Only thing is it is a bit bland. Trying to figure out how to season it up a little more. Also had to improvise with one cup of almond milk 😕 so if you follow it right it should be perfect!!!
