this reminded me of the recipes of the '70s before we ever heard the word "cholesterol". What a wonderful walk down memory lane. I had some pork steaks that I spent at least a half hour cutting all the fat off of and then had no idea what to do with them. My son had picked them up on a quick grocery store run. He probably saw all that fat and thought, "YUM". I couldn't find much googling pork steaks so I gave pork chops a try and found this recipe. Amazingly I had everything on hand except the sour cream. Looked up substitutes and mayonnaise was suggested so that's what I went with. I served over mashed potatoes as suggested. Absolutely delicious. While this recipe will probably not make it to any of the healthy eating websites, I'll bet it beats all their recipes in flavor. I'll surely be back and probably for more recipes than this great one.
