To make this bacon cheeseburger rice, I started by setting my Instant Pot to Saute Less for seven minutes.
I added a dab of margarine to the pot along with a pound of lean ground beef.
I crumbled the ground beef well while it was cooking.
When the Instant Pot turned off the ground beef was still slightly pink.
I added some condensed chicken broth and water to the pot.
Then I added some salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to the pot.
I add some long grain white rice to the pot.
I gently pushed the rice down until it was submerged in the liquid but did not stir.
I poured some condensed cream of bacon soup on top of the rice.
Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for seven minutes.
Once the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release handle to the venting position and did a quick release.
I removed the lid from the Instant Pot and stirred the contents well.
Then I added some crumbled bacon and shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pot.
I stirred until the bacon and cheese were fully combined with the rice.

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 10.5 oz condensed chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups long grain white rice
- 10.5 oz condensed cream of bacon soup
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- Set Instant Pot to Saute Less for 7 minutes.
- Add a dab of margarine or butter to the pot.
- Add the ground beef to the pot and crumble it well as it cooks.
- When the Instant Pot turns off, add the condensed chicken broth and water to the pot.
- Also add the salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to the pot.
- Add the long grain white rice to the pot.
- Gently push the rice down until it is submerged in the liquid but do not stir.
- Pour the condensed cream of bacon soup on top.
- Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 7 minutes.
- Once the Instant Pot is done cooking, immediately turn the steam release handle to the venting position and do a quick release.
- Remove the lid from the Instant Pot and stir the contents well.
- Add the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese to the pot. Stir well.
- Serve and enjoy!
