This Frito pie recipe takes just over thirty minutes from start to finish and serves four people.

To make this Instant Pot Frito Pie, I started by pouring some water and taco seasoning into my Instant Pot.

I stirred until the taco seasoning was all dissolved in the water.

Then I added a pound of lean ground beef to the water.

I poured some chili sauce, medium salsa and canned corn on top of the ground beef.

I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot Pressure Cook High for 1 minute.

Once the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release to the venting position and did a quick release.

I removed the lid from the Instant Pot and stirred all of the ingredients together well, breaking up the ground beef.

Then I set the Instant Pot to Saute Less for 10 minutes.

I left the mixture to simmer stirring occasionally.

When the Instant Pot turned off I stirred the mixture really well one more time.

Then I scooped some Frito's corn chips on to plates and spooned the meat mixture over the chips.

I sprinkled shredded cheese on top of the meat mixture.

This cheesy ground beef dish is packed with flavour.

Ingredients You'll Need to Make This Instant Pot Frito Pie:

• 1 ¼ cups water
• 1 oz taco seasoning
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
• 1 cup medium salsa
• 8.75 oz canned corn, drained
• 4 cups Frito's corn chips
• 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar

Instructions:

1. Pour water and taco seasoning into Instant Pot. Stir well.
2. Add ground beef to Instant Pot.
3. Pour chili sauce, salsa and corn on top of ground beef.
4. Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the steam release handle to the sealing position and set to Pressure Cook High for 1 minute.
5. When the Instant Pot is done cooking, turn the steam release handle to the venting position and do a quick release.
6. Remove the lid from the Instant Pot and stir well. Break apart the ground beef as you stir.
7. Set the Instant Pot to Saute Less for 10 minutes and leave the mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally.
8. Once the Instant Pot turns off, scoop the corn chips on to plates and spoon the ground beef mixture on top.
9. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the meat.
10. Serve and enjoy!
