To make this jalapeno popper grilled cheese, I started by dumping some cream cheese spread into a medium mixing bowl.
Then I added some shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl.
I stirred the cream cheese and shredded cheese together well.
Then I added some sour cream and garlic powder to the bowl.
I stirred well again.
Then I added some pickled jalapeno slices to the bowl.
I stirred until the jalapeno slices were evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
Then I spread butter on four slices of bread.
I flipped over two of the slices of bread so that they were butter side down.
I divided the cheese mixture evenly between these two slices of bread and spread it out.
Then I placed the remaining slices of bread, butter side up, on top of the cheese mixture to form two sandwiches.
I placed the sandwiches in a saute pan over low heat.
Once the bottom slices of bread were golden brown, I flipped the sandwiches over to cook the other side.
Once both sides of the sandwiches were golden brown, I removed the pan from the heat.
Then the spicy grilled cheese sandwiches were ready to serve.
This simple recipe is packed with flavour.
