 Step by Step Instructions

 STEP 1:

I poured brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and gochujang into a small bowl and whisked them together until smooth.

I set the bowl aside.

 STEP 2:

I heated some oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

When the oil was hot I added a pound of ground beef to the skillet.

 STEP 3:

I crumbled and cooked the ground beef until it was nicely browned and drained the grease from the skillet.

 STEP 4:

I added some minced garlic and ginger to the skillet with the cooked ground beef.

I stirred well and continued cooking for about 1 minute.

 STEP 5:

I added the prepared sauce mixture and some thinly chopped green onions to the skillet.

 STEP 6:

I stirred well to coat all of the ground beef in sauce and left the mixture to simmer for 2 minutes.

 STEP 7:

I spooned my ground beef over cooked white rice and topped it with sesame seeds.

Every bite is packed with tender, juicy ground beef coated in a sticky, sweet-and-savory sauce with just the right hint of garlic, ginger, and spice.
