To make this dish, I started by dumping a jar of marinara sauce into a large saute pan over medium heat.
Then I added some frozen Italian meatballs to the pan.
I stirred until all of the meatballs were coated in sauce.
I left the meatballs to cook, stirring occasionally, for ten minutes.
After ten minutes I reduced the heat to low.
Then I placed six slices of bread on a cutting board and spread them with garlic margarine.
I cut all of the slices of bread in half.
Then I placed the pieces of bread, margarine side down, in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the bread in the baking dish.
Then I spooned the meatballs and marinara over the cheese.
I sprinkled some more shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the meatballs.
Then I placed six more slices of bread on the cutting board and spread them with garlic margarine.
Then I cut those slices of bread in half as well.
I placed the pieces of bread, margarine side up, on top of the casserole.
Then I placed the baking dish in the oven and baked the casserole until the bread on top was golden brown.
I removed the casserole from the oven and served it immediately.
