I drained the noodles and set them aside.
I dumped some lean ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.

I stirred just until the cheese was melted.
I added some chopped chives to the skillet.
I stirred again.
Then the cheesy hamburger macaroni was ready to serve.

Absolutely delicious! My mother made this for years using dried parsley instead of the chives. Aunt Norma used dried green peppers instead of chives but the rest the same. Could use ground poultry to save some expense. But delish any way you make it. Love the portion of spices to the sauce--not too much. Thanks!
