To make this one pot pasta, I started by heating some olive oil in a deep 5 quart skillet over medium heat.
When the oil was hot I added some lean ground beef to the skillet.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I drained the grease from the skillet.
Then I added some beef broth to the skillet.
I also added some marinara sauce.
I added some Italian seasoning to the skillet.
Then I stirred all of the ingredients together well.
I brought the liquid to a boil.
Then I broke some spaghetti noodles in half and added them to the pot in a crisscross pattern.
I gently stirred and pushed the spaghetti noodles down into the liquid until they were fully submerged.
I brought the liquid back to a boil and then immediately reduced the heat to medium.
I left the dish to simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent the spaghetti from clumping and sticking to the bottom.
I cooked until the spaghetti was tender and the sauce was thickened.
Then I removed the skillet from the heat.
I added some grated parmesan cheese to the dish.
I stirred the cheese into the spaghetti.
Then the one pot spaghetti was ready to serve.
I sprinkled some grated parmesan cheese on top when serving.
This simple pasta recipe is full of flavour.
This one pot pasta recipe could also be made with ground chicken, pork or turkey.
