To make these sliders, I started by dumping some lean ground beef into a non stick skillet over medium-high heat.

I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.

Once the ground beef was fully cooked I drained the grease from the pan and reduced the heat to low.

I added some mayo, Thousand Island dressing, salt and pepper to the pan.

I stirred until all of the ground beef was coated in the sauce.

Then I added some diced dill pickles and diced onions to the skillet.

I stirred well again.

I added some shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet.

I stirred just until the cheese was melted.

Then I sliced twelve dinner rolls open horizontally.

I placed the bottom buns on a baking sheet.

I spooned the ground beef mixture onto the buns.

I sprinkled some more shredded cheddar cheese on top of the ground beef.

Then I placed the top buns on a separate baking sheet.

I brushed the top buns with melted butter.

I sprinkled some sesame seeds on top.

I placed both baking sheets in the oven and baked until the cheese was melted and the buns were toasted.

I removed the baking sheets from the oven.

I placed the top buns on the sliders.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make These Big Mac Sliders:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1 cup diced yellow onions
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

How to Make Big Mac Sliders:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Dump the ground beef into a large non stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
  4. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan and reduce the heat to low.
  5. Add the mayo, Thousand Island dressing, salt and pepper to the skillet.
  6. Stir until all of the ground beef is coated in the dressing.
  7. Add the diced pickles and diced onions to the skillet and stir well again.
  8. Add 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet.
  9. Stir just until the cheese is melted.
  10. Slice the dinner rolls open horizontally and place the bottom buns on a baking sheet.
  11. Spoon the ground beef mixture onto the bottom buns.
  12. Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the ground beef.
  13. Place the top buns, cut side down, on a separate baking sheet.
  14. Brush the melted butter on the tops of the buns.
  15. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on the top buns.
  16. Place both baking sheets in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and buns are lightly toasted. 6 – 8 minutes.
  17. Remove the baking sheets from the oven.
  18. Sprinkle the shredded lettuce on top of the ground beef.
  19. Place the top buns on the sliders.
  20. Serve and enjoy!
