Step by Step Instructions for Making Crescent Roll Cheeseburger Casserole
To make this casserole, I started by dicing some yellow onions and pickles.
STEP 1:
I dropped some lean ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
I crumbled the ground beef well as it cooked.
Once the ground beef was fully browned, I drained the grease from the skillet.
STEP 2:
I added the diced onions and pickles to the skillet.
I stirred well and continued cooking until the onions were translucent.
STEP 3:
I added some diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet.
I also added some salt, pepper and garlic powder.
I stirred all of the ingredients together until fully combined.
STEP 4:
I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
I unrolled a sheet of Pillsbury crescent dough and placed it in the bottom of the baking dish.
I gently pressed the dough out to cover the bottom and go up the sides of the dish.
I poured the ground beef mixture over the crescent dough and spread it out evenly.
STEP 5:
I sprinkled some shredded cheese over the ground beef.
I unrolled a second sheet of crescent dough and placed it over the top.
I gently pressed the dough down the sides of the dish to meet with the bottom layer of crescent dough.
STEP 6:
I placed the dish in the oven and baked it until the crescent roll dough was nicely browned.
I removed the dish from the oven and allowed it to rest for a few minutes.
Then the cheeseburger casserole was ready to slice and serve.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Drop the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks. Once the ground beef is fully browned, drain the grease from the skillet.
- Add the diced onion and pickles to the skillet. Stir well and continued cooking until the onions are translucent.
- Add the diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
- Unroll one sheet of crescent dough and place it in the bottom of the baking dish. Gently press the dough out over the bottom and part way up the sides of the dish.
- Pour the ground beef mixture over the dough and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the ground beef.
- Unroll the second sheet of crescent dough and place it on top. Gently press edges of the dough down the sides of the dish to meet up with the bottom layer of dough.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake until the crescent dough is nicely browned. 28 - 32 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
