  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 10 oz penne noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

 Step by Step Instructions for Making Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Pasta 

 STEP 1: 

To make this pasta recipe, I started by spraying the inside of my Crock Pot well with cooking spray.

Then I placed some boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the pot. 

I poured some chicken broth into the Crock Pot.

I poured some Buffalo sauce on top of the chicken breasts.

 STEP 2: 

I poured some ranch dressing over the chicken breasts.

I cut a brick of cream cheese into cubes and dropped the cubes into the Crock Pot.

 STEP 3: 

I placed the lid on the pot and set it to cook on HIGH.

After two hours of cooking time I used tongs to remove the chicken breasts from the pot and transfer them to a cutting board.

Then I stirred the contents of the Crock Pot well.

 STEP 4: 

I added some uncooked penne noodles to the pot.

Then I stirred well.

 STEP 5: 

I returned the lid to the pot and left the pasta to cook for 30 minutes.

While the pasta was cooking, I chopped the chicken breasts.

 STEP 6: 

After thirty minutes I removed the lid and stirred well.

I added the chopped chicken to the pot.

 STEP 7: 

I stirred the chicken into the pasta.

Then I added some shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pot.

 STEP 8: 

I stirred well again.

I returned the lid to the pot and left it to continue cooking for 10 minutes just to make sure the chicken was heated through.

I added some chopped green onions to the pot.

I stirred the green onions into the pasta.

Then I sprinkled some more chopped green onions on top for garnish.

Then the creamy Buffalo ranch pasta was ready to serve.

  12. Add the chopped chicken to the pot and stir.
  13. Add the shredded mozzarella and cheddar to the pot and stir.
  14. Return the lid to the pot and leave the pasta to continue cooking for about 10 minutes just to ensure the chicken pieces are heated through.
  15. Remove the lid, add the 1/2 cup of chopped green onions to the pot and stir well.
  16. Sprinkle the remaining green onions on top.
