 Step by Step Instructions for Making Crock Pot Million Dollar Spaghetti 

 STEP 1: 

To make this spaghetti with cream cheese, I started by removing some Italian sausage meat from the casings and dropping it into a large skillet.

I crumbled the ground sausage well as it cooked.

 STEP 2: 

I poured some marinara sauce and water into the bottom of my Crock Pot.

Then I broke some uncooked spaghetti noodles in half and dropped them in the pot spreading them out as evenly as possible.

 STEP 3: 

I spoon the cooked sausage meat over the spaghetti.

I dumped some softened cream cheese into a mixing bowl.

I added some sour cream and Italian seasoning to the bowl.

 STEP 5: 

I stirred the ingredients together well.

Then I dropped the mixture by the spoonful into the Crock Pot.

 STEP 6: 

I spread the the cream cheese mixture out as evenly as possible.

I broke more spaghetti noodles in half and placed them on top.

 STEP 7: 

I poured more marinara and water over top of the spaghetti.

Then I placed the lid on the Crock Pot and set it to cook on LOW.

After two and a half hours of cooking time I removed the lid.

 STEP 8: 

I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

I returned the lid to the pot and left the pasta to continue cooking for thirty minutes.

Then I turned the Crock Pot off and removed the lid.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage meat, casings removed
  • 48 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dump the Italian sausage meat into a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Crumble the sausage well as it cooks.
  3. Pour half of the marinara sauce and 1/2 cup of water into the bottom of your Crock Pot.
  4. Take half of the uncooked spaghetti noodle and break them in half.
  5. Place the broken noodles in the Crock Pot spreading them out as evenly as possible.
  6. Spoon the cooked sausage over the noodles.
  7. Dump the cream cheese, sour cream and Italian seasoning into a mixing bowl. Stir well.
  8. Drop the cream cheese mixture by the spoonful on top of the sausage in the Crock Pot.
