I added some heavy cream to the Crock Pot.
I also added some shredded parmesan cheese and some fresh chopped parsley to the pot.
I whisked until the cheese was melted.
I poured some water and cornstarch into a bowl.
I stirred until the cornstarch was dissolved in the water.
Then I poured the cornstarch slurry into the Crock Pot while whisking.
I returned the chicken breasts to the Crock Pot.
I returned the lid to the pot and continued cooking on LOW for one and a half hours.
Then I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley over the chicken breasts.
I returned the lid to the pot and continued cooking on LOW for thirty minutes to melt the cheese, bringing the total cooking time to five hours.
I turned the slow cooker off and left the chicken to cool slightly before serving to allow the sauce to thicken up.
Then the creamy garlic parmesan chicken was ready to serve.
I served my slow cooker parmesan garlic chicken with a side of Caesar salad.
