To make this Instant Pot honey garlic chicken, I started by dumping some condensed chicken broth, water, soy sauce and vinegar into my Instant Pot.
Then I added some boneless, skinless chicken breasts to the pot.
I poured some liquid honey on top of the chicken breasts, followed by some garlic puree, salt and pepper.
Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 15 minutes.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I left it to natural release for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, I turned the steam release handle to the venting position and finished with a quick release before removing the lid.
Then I removed the chicken breast from the pot and set them on a cutting board.
I used two forks to shred the chicken.
Then I added some cornstarch to a small bowl with some water.
I stirred until the cornstarch was fully dissolved.
Then I set the Instant Pot to Saute Normal for 10 minutes.
Once the liquid in the Instant Pot started to bubble, I added the dissolved cornstarch to the pot.
I whisked well and then left the sauce to continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the Instant Pot turned off.
Then I added the shredded chicken to the pot.
I stirred well and left the chicken to soak in the sauce for five minutes.
Then I scooped the chicken on to some fresh Kaiser rolls.
I placed some mixed greens on top of the chicken.
These flavourful pulled chicken sandwiches are sure to please the whole family.
This honey garlic chicken would also be amazing served over rice.
