To make this pulled pork, I started by cutting a boneless pork roast into approximately three inch chunks.
Then I poured some condensed chicken broth and apple juice into my Instant Pot.
I added some Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika to the pot.
I whisked all of the ingredients together well.
Then I added the chunks of pork roast to the pot.
I pushed the pork chunks around until they were all submerged in the liquid.
Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to pressure cook on High for 35 minutes.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I left it to natural release for 20 minutes and then finished with a quick release.
I lifted the chunks of pork out of the pot and transferred them to a cutting board.
I used two forks to shred the pork.
Then I placed the shredded pork in a mixing bowl.
I added one cup of the cooking liquid to the bowl and half a cup of barbecue sauce.
I tossed the pork until it was all coated in sauce.
I chose to serve my pulled pork on Brioche buns.
I also topped the pulled pork with some French’s fried onions.

How to Make Instant Pot Pulled Pork:

- Add the chunks of pork to the pot and push them around until they are all submerged in the liquid.
- Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to pressure cook on High for 35 minutes.
- When the Instant Pot is done cooking, leave it to natural release for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, turn the steam release handle to the venting position to finish with a quick release.
- Remove the lid and use tongs to transfer the cooked pork chunks onto a cutting board.
- Use two forks to shred the pork.
- Dump the shredded pork into a mixing bowl.
- Add 1 cup of the cooking liquid from the Instant Pot to the mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce to the mixing bowl.
- Toss the shredded pork until it is all covered in sauce.
- Serve on buns or on it’s own.
