To make this macaroni and cheese, I started by cooking some macaroni noodles according to the directions on the package.
When the noodles were done cooking I drained them and set them aside.
I dumped two eggs into a large mixing bowl.
I added some evaporated milk and heavy cream to the bowl.
Then I added some salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the bowl.
I whisked all of the ingredients together well.
Then I added the cooked macaroni noodles to the bowl.
I stirred well.
Then I chopped some Velveeta cheese into small cubes.
I added the cubes of Velveeta to the mixing bowl along with some shredded Monterey jack and cheddar.
I stirred well again.
Then I poured the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
I sprinkled some more shredded Monterey jack and cheddar on top.
Then I placed the dish in the oven and baked the mac and cheese until it was bubbling and the cheese on top was nicely browned.
I removed the dish from the oven and allowed the macaroni to sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
This hearty mac and cheese is the perfect comfort food.
