I sprayed a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.

I placed the dish in the oven and baked the casserole for thirty minutes.
Then I removed the dish from the oven.
I sprinkled some French’s crispy fried onions on top.
I sprinkled some diced red onions on top of the crispy fried onions.
Then I drizzled some barbecue sauce over the casserole.
I returned the dish to the oven and continued baking just until the fried onions browned slightly.
I removed the dish from the oven and allowed the casserole to rest for a few minutes.
Then the cheesy barbecue chicken casserole was ready to serve.

- While the noodles are cooking, dump the shredded chicken into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the diced red onions, corn, cream of chicken soup and barbecue sauce to the bowl.
- Stir all of the ingredients together until fully combined.
- Once the noodles are cooked, add them to the bowl with the chicken mixture and stir well.
- Add the shredded cheese to the bowl and stir well again.
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish well with cooking spray.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 – 30 minutes until the cheese on top is fully melted and just starting to brown.
- Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the French’s crispy fried onions on top.
