To make this alfredo pasta, I started by cooking some store bought refrigerated cheese tortellini according to the directions on the package.
Then I drained the tortellini and set it aside.
I dumped some butter into a large non stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the butter was fully melted I added some garlic puree to the skillet.
I also added some Italian seasoning to the skillet.
I stirred well and cooked the garlic for a couple of minutes.
Then I added some heavy cream to the skillet.
I also added some salt and pepper to the skillet.
I stirred well.
I left the sauce to simmer and thicken, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, I added the cooked tortellini to the skillet.
I stirred until the tortellini was coated in sauce.
I added some shredded rotisserie chicken and stirred until all of the chicken was coated in sauce.
I left the dish to continue cooking for two minutes.
Then I removed the skillet from the heat and added some shredded parmesan and fresh chopped basil to the skillet.
I stirred until the cheese was melted.
Then the tortellini alfredo was ready to serve.
